the owner: bailey cupples

Meet Bailey Cupples, the visionary force behind our pole fitness haven. With a passion for empowering through movement, Bailey turned a dream into reality, creating a space where strength, grace, and self-expression intertwine. In 2016, Bailey was diagnosed with leukemia and didn't think she would ever be able to participate in fitness again. Bailey’s pole journey started in 2021. After a year as a student, she decided she would get her XPERT pole 1 and 2 certification to teach. Bailey has continued to grow her skills through attending several workshops and teaching multiple classes on a weekly basis.

bri Harding

Brielle is a pole athlete, trainer & choreographer who specializes in spotting, competition coaching & routine development. Her pole journey began in 2015 as a student at TGR Fitness, then teaching classes in 2016 before journeying to teach traveling workshops in 2019. As an trainer, Brielle's main skills stem from her 13 years of training and 8 years of coaching competitive gymnastic. Without these formative years learning body awareness, spotting techniques & the innate ability to land & fall safely, she knows she wouldn't be the instructor she is today.

heidi

Heidi has always been captivated by the power of movement, firmly believing that movement is medicine and has the capacity to strengthen, nurture, and heal both the body and mind. While Heidi’s passion for movement began in dance classes at a young age, adding in competitive cheerleading then weightlifting along the way, these days holistic wellness, strength/conditioning, and pole fitness are her passions. Heidi holds Xpert Pole 1/2 & 3/4, ACE, and dance fitness certifications and loves helping others achieve their wellness goals.

What sets Heidi apart is not just her knowledge and certifications but her genuine joy in helping others succeed. Her favorite part? Seeing the glow of accomplishment on someone's face when they surpass their own expectations or when someone become so engrossed in the activity that they forget it's a workout. She also prides herself in creating a community where everyone feels welcome and supported.

Beyond the gym, Heidi enjoys spending time with her family and pups, supporting animal welfare & rescue causes, getting outdoors, and taking advantage of every opportunity to learn more & grow (so you’ll likely see her enjoying Encore classes alongside you too!). Always ready with a warm smile, Heidi is eager to welcome you to the studio.

Sara

Dance and expression through movement has always interested Sara. In 2019 she started regularly attending belly dance classes at TGR Fitness, quickly joining the performance troupe, and by that summer started pole classes as well. If it had just been about fitness she probably wouldn't have stuck with it, but there was a lot more to learn than just tricks! Pole became a vehicle for confidence, goal setting, doing hard things even when they scare you…and that carried over into all aspects of her life.

Creating and performing routines in showcases quickly became a great creative outlet, including competing with Pole Sport Org a couple of times, though attending and cheering on her friends more often.

Sara also found joy in teaching; both pole beginners, as well as her secondary apparatus, platform stripper heels. In 2022 she earned her certification in Amber Wolf's Exotic Burn instructor training, which focuses on American exotic floorwork. Sara believes it is important to educate herself on the ongoing struggles of sex workers and strippers, honoring the roots of pole dance, and is proud to consider herself an ally.

Above all, Sara's purpose is to provide a safe, welcoming environment for all people to explore new skills, build confidence, and have fun!

She performed on silks and lyra in multiple events for En L’Air Dance Co. and competed on silks in the 2017 Aerialympics. Unfortunately, an ankle injury brought her aerial career to a halt. Since then, Alicia has discovered a renewed love for yoga and barre. Alicia is a certified barre instructor through the International Ballet Barre Association and is excited to help build a strong community at Encore fitness.
